PKYC offers four progressive phases of spiritual guidance.
First is the Introductory Phase, which includes education by means of a Kundalini seminar or reading Kundalini Vidya, an optional introductory chat, and a Kundalini Assessment, based on data provided by the applicant, to verify a Kundalini rising and determine the type of rising the person is experiencing.
To participate in subsequent phases of PKYC, the individual must meet certain criteria, including adequate health, emotional maturity, spiritual motivation, supportive lifestyle, and the ability to comply with the program. Upon mutual agreement, applicants can embark upon the Intervention Phase, which includes the Recommendation Service, which is provided during a Spiritual Guidance Retreat. Next is the Support Phase, which involves the Ongoing Consultation Service, regular practice of the recommendations, and possible return retreats. The Advanced Phase includes Consultations upon request, continued practice of the consultee's recommendations, and possible return retreats and study in India. These services are described in more detail below.
We are a small service. We work with people individually. If you feel you are interested you can find out more including our fee schedule by requesting an Info Packet or by calling us at (865) 531-2004 (9a-9p EST).
Introductory Phase: Assessment
Goal: To understand Kundalini Shakti and the individual's rising.
- Education. To more fully understand the theoretical base of Traditional Kundalini Science, interested people may read Kundalini Vidya, take the PKYC Kundalini seminar, and read selected books available through the PKYC Spiritual Book Service.
- Introductory Chat. (Optional). To meet the PKYC director, ask spiritual questions, and/or clarify whether or not to seek guidance through PKYC, an introductory session can be requested. Spiritual direction may be offered, but no assessment or recommendations are given in this half hour meeting.
- Kundalini Assessment Service. To receive an assessment of the kind of Kundalini process the individual is experiencing, applicants submit three autobiographical histories (personal, health, and spiritual) and other descriptive data in response to our application packet.
Intervention Phase: Recommendations
Goal: To elevate the Kundalini rising.
- Recommendation Service. Following a Kundalini Assessment, individualized recommendations are offered to the qualified seeker for the improvement of their spiritual process. The custom designed practice routine consists of several specifically selected postures, breathing practices, meditation/prayer techniques, dietary and lifestyle considerations, and Ayurvedic dietary supplements for the energy system. The Recommendations vitalize and direct the subtle body functioning, supporting Kundalini Shakti's efforts to improve the seeker's rising. The goal of the Recommendation phase is to establish the individual's rising at the top of Ajna chakra, the upper Brow center, at Makara point. Applicants are given their recommendations as the first part of their Initial Spiritual Guidance Retreat.
- Initial Spiritual Guidance Retreat. To train the individual in their recommended personalized spiritual practices and to monitor their process as they practice and progress, a Spiritual Guidance Retreat is provided. An initial retreat is required of all who are seeking PKYC's intervention services. The retreat includes daily monitored spiritual practice sessions, spiritual instruction and direction, homemade Ayurvedic meals, cooking instruction, Ayurvedic dietary supplements for the energy system, and accommodations offering four single rooms with two shared baths in retreat quarters surrounded by peaceful grounds. Retreats are scheduled by arrangement and are offered in Knoxville, Tennessee. Retreats for local consultees may be arranged with some variations. Europeans may inquire about services from PKYC-India.
Follow-up Phase: Support
Goal: To adapt to the Elevation and to support the Renovation phase.
- Ongoing Monthly Consultation Service. To help the consultee better understand what they are experiencing and to better manage their adaptation and continued progress, regular monthly follow-up spiritual direction consultations are provided. These give instruction and support as the person adapts to the new status of their rising and upholds subsequent adjustments in their subtle system. It is important that consultees are given this spiritual direction in the unloading project of the Renovation/Restoration phase. In this way, the advancement of the individual's progress can be monitored, recommendations can be revised, difficulties addressed or avoided, and explanations of progress can be given. Consultees keep weekly logs of their practices and supplements and make journal entries regarding the results of their recommendations and their inner experiences. Semi-monthly or bi-monthly schedules are also available. The frequency of consultations is mutually determined by need.
- Follow-up Retreats. To address specific needs, intensify progress, and adjust/update recommendations, follow-up Spiritual Guidance Retreats can be scheduled by arrangement. Revised recommendations are provided during a Follow-up Retreat.
Advanced Phase: Guidance
Goal: To maintain progress and advancement to completion and beyond.
- Spiritual Guidance Consultations. Additional support and guidance are offered upon request to advanced consultees who have completed the Support phase. This is designed to assist in supporting their process to completion and to stages of spiritual development beyond this. Continued spiritual practice, dietary supplements, and spiritual direction help in this endeavor. Consultation sessions are scheduled on an as needed basis.
- Advanced Retreats. To address specific needs, intensify progress, and further education, advanced Spiritual Guidance Retreats can be scheduled by arrangement. Pilgrimage and Spiritual Education in India are also available for qualified consultees.
